Ethereum Upgrade

Learn how the Ethereum network adjusts protocol rules, data processing methods, and system functions according to technological development and actual operational needs.

Ethereum network upgrade

As a blockchain network supporting smart contracts and decentralized applications, Ethereum needs to continuously adapt to transaction demands, application growth, and changes in the technological environment. Different upgrades involve different aspects and may include transaction processing, network fees, data storage, verification mechanisms, or development tools.

Ethereum (ETH) upgrade process

Research and development: Upgrade plans typically revolve around protocol rules, transaction processing, network fees, data storage, verification mechanisms, or development tools.
Testing and evaluation: The relevant upgrade proposal is developed, tested, and evaluated for compatibility to be officially launched once specified conditions are met.
Infrastructure adjustments: Node operators, trading platforms, and application developers may need to update systems or complete compatibility adjustments.
Mainnet launch: Upgrades are executed according to preset network rules; ordinary users typically do not need to take any action.

What is the ETH upgrade?

An Ethereum upgrade refers to the network adjusting protocol rules, data processing methods, and system functions based on technological development and actual operational needs. Upgrades are usually jointly driven by developers, validator nodes, and related infrastructure participants, with the main goal of improving network efficiency, stability, scalability, and user experience.

Upgrades can improve some network performance, but not all cost, speed, or usage issues are resolved immediately. Before the upgrade is implemented, the relevant upgrade proposal is usually researched, developed, and tested, and is officially launched once specified conditions are met.

Platform service arrangements

During the upgrade, ANMREX may make temporary adjustments to deposit, withdrawal, or confirmation services for Ethereum and related networks based on network status and technical arrangements. These measures are mainly intended to reduce the risk of abnormal handling during upgrades, and normal asset records in user accounts usually do not change as a result.

Specific service arrangements should be subject to official announcements from ANMREX.

Network upgrades: May involve protocol rules and system function adjustments. Ordinary users usually do not need to take any action. Please refer to official pages and announcements.
